I pretty sure that it is a proven fact that desserts taste better when served in a jar. A couple of my favorite desserts served in a jar have been red velvet cupcakes and pie.

But, what about a malt served in a jar? I’m sure it would be scrumdelioumpcious as well!

Here’s the recipe for Bing Cherry Malts
2 cups Bing cherries, pitted
2 to 3 tablespoons malted milk powder (usually found by the hot cocoa in stores)
1/4 to 1/3 cup milk
4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
Whipped cream for garnish, optional
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Garnish with whipped cream for extra decadence.

At first glance, my thought was, “wow! look at how bright and vibrant those flowers are!”. But, upon closer examination, I was surprised to find that the gorgeous flowers were made out of clay.
DK Designs creates custom floral pieces from clay. Her attention to detail is truly awe-inspiring. The texture, color, and shape of each flower is so life-like that it could easily pas as real. While DK Designs’ creations will cost you a pretty penny, the fact that you can keep your one of a kind creation forever is well worth it.
I totally just sounded like an advertisement! I promise this is not a sponsored post – I just really am impressed by these flowers!

Remember the website that I couldn’t read, but had the great tangerine and print wedding inspiration? Today’s post is from Dom in Stil again, and features this easy to recreate DIY table runner. All you need is a roll of black paper (you can find this at a teacher’s supply store) and white crayons. I think it is beautiful and romantic pared with candlelight.

A great way to make your reception unique is by having a unique dessert (either instead of or along with your wedding cake).
We have seen cupcakes, pies, cookies, candy buffets and more become popular as wedding cake alternatives. So, why not donuts as well? Better yet, how about donuts served from a traveling trailer like the donuts from Carpe Donut? Unfortunately for us in the mid-west, Carpe Donut is located in Virginia.
Who wants to open an organic donut trailer her in Indianapolis?
