It's time to organize your wedding registry.
We've covered some basic Q and A's of gift Registries in the past, but today we're going to get even more basic. If organization isn't your strong suit, Real Simple is one of my favorite guides for home entertaining, organization, and advice. One of their recent features is the ultimate wedding registry checklist, which lists off the most commonly needed items after a couple ties the knot.
You can download the list from Real Simple and check it off as you register for your gifts. If you're having some trouble organizing your list, we can break this down into some of the basic categories:
For your dining room essentials, make sure all your bases are covered with basic serveware and accessories that will cover anywhere from 8-12 place settings.

Your kitchen needs will vary depending on what you already own, but you can use your registry checklist to fill in any gaps that you may have in terms of cookware and accessories.

This is a great chance to spice up your bathroom with new towels, mats, curtains and liners. To ensure you have enough for you and potential guests, make sure you have at least 4-6 of every type of towel (hand towels, washcloths, bath towels, etc).

Planning for your new bedroom is probably the most enjoyable of your new rooms. Make sure to register for extra sets of bed sheets and pillow shams as well as seperate duvets for summer and winter months.
Seasonal essentials cover your needs for summer, winter, fall, and spring. These can include anywhere from flannel blankets and fireplace tools to picnic accessories and beach chairs.
