5-Minute Sugar Body Scrub

This very simple body scrub is a recipe by Hey Gorgeous. There are even some variations of this body scrub recipe that you can tweak to make it your own!

Needed:

2.5 cups of sugar in the raw

¾ cup of white granulated sugar

4-5 tablespoons of your favorite extract (vanilla, orange, almond, etc.)

¼ cup of almond oil

Mix together your sugars, then mix in your oil and extract until a scrub-like consistency is achieved. That’s it!

Moisturize and Soften with Honey and Olive Oil

Some of the best beauty recipes for the skin stem from honey and olive oil, according to Inspiring Pretty. If you’re looking to moisturize, mix equal parts of these ingredients and allow the mixture to rest for 10-20 minutes before rinsing off.

Bonus tip: To further soften your skin, ground one cup of oatmeal using your blender or coffee grinder. Add to bath water for softer skin!

30 Minute Facial Mask

If you use facial masks to soften your skin tone and pores, College Fashion has a great natural remedy:

Needed: Honey, nutmeg and cinnamon

To make: Mix 2 tablespoons of honey, a teaspoon of cinnamon and a teaspoon of nutmeg until the mixture becomes a thick paste. Apply to face and let sit for 30 minutes before washing off with warm water.

The honey and nutmeg act as a natural anti-inflammatory, while the cinnamon works to exfoliate the skin!

Lip Balm that Doubles as a Wedding Favor

This natural lip balm comes from Whole Living. If you have some extra lip balm tins handy, you can make enough of these for some extra wedding favors!

Needed:

1 tablespoon beeswax pearls
1 tablespoon pure Shea butter
2 tablespoons almond oil
10-15 drops essential oils

Melt the beeswax, almond oil and Shea butter in a heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir the mixture continuously until liquefied. After you remove the bowl from heat, mix in your essential oils. As quickly as you can, pour the mixture into your lip balm tins. Allow them to cool until they become solid.
