More and more, I see gift tables getting smaller and the majority of gifts coming in the form of a card. A monetary gift or gift card is easy to carry along to weddings and allows you to get exactly what you want, so it’s no surprise many guests are opting to fore-go the bridal registries! Your gift card box will most likely be one of the first things your guests see, so why not use this opportunity as a first chance to let your guests experience your vision for your wedding and your personality as a couple!
So think “outside of the box” by using something that reflects your style. Remember, no one says it has to be a box—if it can hold 50 cards, it can serve as a creative and fun card box alternative! Here are a few I’ve loved this season: Ken+Katy used a vintage fishing pouch with a picture of them fishing on the day they got engaged, an amazing rustic-chic wedding used a modified stump, our June 27th groom Mitch made a custom card box for he and Kate’s wedding which featured four of their amazing engagement pics, our May bride Megan used a vintage wood birdcage for her eco-friendly barn wedding and July newlyweds Lisa+Bart created their own custom mailbox to collect their cards! So many fun and creative ideas so far this summer!
What are you using as a card box and how will it reflect your wedding day style?
