Capture the Moment with Photos

As a bride+groom you will be all over the place on your wedding day, especially at your reception. Between the cake cutting, dancing and greeting guests, you’ll obviously be spread thin throughout the night—but no worries! There are many ways to capture the little moments that will take place amongst your guests, and to look back and smile over all of the fun your guests had! Here are a couple of budget-savvy options:

A photobooth is a great way to capture some fun shots of your guests, but if you can’t afford the actual vintage-style booth, consider asking your photographer to set up a “mock” photo booth using a secluded area and a backdrop! Guests can get some fun and candid photos taken during the reception, and you’ll have all of the fun caught on film!

To get a glimpse of everyone’s pictures, use a photo sharing websites like Shutterfly to host your guests wedding photos. First, setup an email account that you will use only for this purpose. Register for a Shutterfly account using your email address and a simple password. Let  your guests know they are encouraged to upload their personal wedding photos! I’ve seen couples print out custom cards (the size of a business card) with the login info and simple step-by-step instructions to get guests started! This is a great alternative to disposable cameras which often leave you with less quality photos than those off of a digital camera, and will probably lend a little more variety!
